Bloody hell this could well be called the Goal Kick update, they’ve gone rather overboard in their updating, with a whopping six updates, after going months with sporadic updates.
However before we get to Goal Kick there are a few other pieces to bring to your attention. The official Football Manager site in particular has three new updates in its series of “Manager Travel Guides”, looking in depth at Argentina, Ireland and Ukraine in particular with a very personal and real world based style in comparison to other similar guides around the community.

FM Britain started in a new direction, at least as far as I’m aware, yesterday with a very interesting, fictional FM Story. Unlike other stories around the community which take the form of basic match reports or something similar, this is a full on adventure, think Lord of The Rings or something like that (I don’t actually read enough to know what it is similar to).

Perhaps somewhat missing out on the delights of Elrawkum’s Odyssey by appearing on the same day, Pitchside takes a look at FM Britain with the second of what I presume will be many FM Community Reviews.

From The Sideline have an attempt at a comical piece looking at “30 things about the scene”, in which the author gives a satirical guide to the most important aspects of our wonderful community.
Bah I’ll admit it, I feel consistently let down everytime I visit Marvellous Scene and today’s update is no different. I’m not even sure what point the author’s trying to make, sure I can deal with the awful grammar and spelling, they don’t bother me that much (Elise means Realise in answer to the commenter). Beyond the lack of a real point, you could at least get your facts straight if you don’t know first hand or quote your sources so you don’t look like a total ‘tard when you get things wrong. I’m just… really lost with this site and this article in particular… I want to give helpful feedback but… I’m at a total loss what to say I’m afraid.
Blog FM have updated with various answers to the questions posed a couple of days/weeks ago “What annoys you about Football Manager”. It makes for interesting reading, you should definitely check it out.

Although entitled “The Norwegian Leagues”, it’s more of a guide to the best players to buy from Norway rather than a guide to the actual Norwegian Leagues, check it out if you’re interested in picking up some bargain basement Scandinavians.
