Core blimey a whole host of updates for you today, erm well they’re not all from today, some are from yesterday and three are from before yesterday (sorry about that) but nonetheless, this should make some very entertaining reading for you all.
First up, massive apologies for my subconscious attempts to destroy Pitchside. I don’t know why I missed you the other day or why I’ve missed you in the past; it must be subconscious jealousy subliminally telling my brain to destroy your site or something.
A bit to far fetched you say? Perhaps, but you can never say never in this topsy turvy world. Anywho, the article in question is a fantastic piece. Following on from the authors look at how to defend corners, he takes a look at how to score from them.
I’m sure there was a cheat floating around before explaining how to score from a corner on nearly every occasion, which isn’t included in this piece, or perhaps that was for an old version? Nonetheless it’s a very interesting and helpful piece that I recommend you check out.
Scoring From Corners in FM2007
Also from Pitchside comes a brief look at how to create and install a logo. It takes the form of being from a n00b, for a n00b as it where. With the author having no previous experience in the whole graphics malarkey before writing the tutorial, so altogether rather helpful.
Footygamer have part four in Mike’s Leigh RMI Journal.
Caley and Cleon have a mini article which looks at the two biggest sites in Throw In and sortitoutsi and where exactly they’re going wrong.
Apparently we’re all going backwards?
From The Sideline have begun taking tactic requests, which offer you the opportunity to submit your tactics to the author and get some feedback on how you could improve it.

Just Joey has returned once again with a new article aimed at explaining how to get your strikers to score in FM2007, of course some of it is obvious such as “have good strikers”, however other parts of it such as the tactical analysis of passing style and the position of your defensive line give a helpful insight into the game.
Le FM Blog is a new site started up by former Goal Kick and In The Stand Administrator Cammack, which boasts two articles, one looking at the failures of in the stand which he blames on the staffs reputation and one looking at the desire to play “just one more game” before bed.
Oh and one thing I missed from a few weeks ago which nobody told me about was the introduction of a new blog based around FM Tactland which reviews and analysis’s and offers up for download, various FM2007 tactics.
Goal Kick have a new team guide up dedicated to Watford, as a Watford fan myself I need to disagree with the comments made about Lloyd Doyley, he’s utter crap (in the game), play him at your peril.
