Loads of updates for you today which isn’t really surprising considering how long its been (again sorry about this), but since there’s so many i’ll quickly rush through them.
First FMG Live have a new article up which looks at how cheating in Football Manager 2008 isn’t always the unspeakable sin and could actually be rather fun.
FM View have two new updates, the first is a player guide looking at Diego Biseswar a Dutch attacking midfield / Forward with bags of potential (although quiet why the guide couldn’t have been formatted to have spaces between the lines is beyond me!)

Secondly from FM View, there’s rather strangely a database which will allow you to take charge of Manchester United’s 1996/97 team. Quiet why this year was chosen I don’t know, surely there are better years to reminisce to? I can’t even remember what happened in the Premiership that season!
The Goal Kick Panel, in which a few of the most popular Goal Kick members are selected to be quizzed on their thoughts and opinions about Football Manager has returned. This edition takes look bag at what was FM08 as well as looking forward to what FM2009 could hold in store for us all.
Life in FM has an out of sorts update this time around, rather than focusing on one of the many FM Stories the author gets going, he’s taken the time to create a database especially for us. In which you can take charge of a team full of the best players in the Championship in an attempt to make them a solid Premiership side.
This update also comes with further downloads for the authors St Helens game in which he’s created a fictional club which he hopes to take to Football Manager stardom.
The True Football Manager Blog has has two new updates both regarding the authors Southampton Story in which he attempts to take the Saints out of Championship obscurity and up into the Premiership.
The first instalment focuses on the authors summer signings before setting about telling us about how his fourth season in charge has got underway.
The Gaffa is back with its first update in ages with a brief overview of how transfers and contracts work in Football Manager Live.
Following on from Throw In’s recent article concerning the best players from Algeria in Football Manager, TI have come up with a list of the best Albanian players in FM2008 for you all to get your teeth stuck into.
Next up TI have another tactic review which looks at the “Diamante pentru Infinit” FM2008 tactic.
Finally both from Throw In and for today there’s another TI style short article relating to whether or not we get as emotionally attached to FM as we did the old CM’s, in particular focusing on losing our temper at what is, at the end of the day, just a game.
