After a week delay in getting the second challenge up, we’ve finally been able to release it. It’s a 6 month challenge that sees you manage Liverpool- you need to finish as high as possible in this time to have any chance of winning points.

We’ve been guessing for weeks now, and the fate of Rafael Benitez has finally been determined after facing the wrath of George Gillett and Tom Hicks. Without waiting until the season ended, they’ve decided to terminate his contract with immediate affect after a below par first 6 months. Liverpool, who are without their illustrious captain Steven Gerrard, face relegation if they don’t step up their game with a new manager

There’s been a huge revelation at Anfield after George Gillett and Tom Hicks have announced the new manager to take over Benitez’s reign at Anfield. User Name, who spent the worst part of 8 games with Kilmarnock will start his time in power on the 24th of January. The Liverpool faithful are said to be shocked and expectant of Name, expecting him to “finish at least 3rd, if not 1st- and sort team moral, which according to some, is naively low.
George Gillett released the following statement;
“I expect the criticism after appointing a relevantly unknown to replace Benitez, however we felt like change would be the perfect ointment to change our fortunes. We expect to see some new faces with a week left in the transfer window- and we’re with the fans when they say the top four finish is mandatory.”
Basically, Liverpool are sitting 7th come the end of January. You have a week left in the transfer window to replace who you see fit- you have to finish as high as possible. The team moral is low, United are running away with the title and expectations are high- can you go the rest of the season undefeated and hope United slip up?
