Take control of another club and get loads of money cheat

This is a very simple cheat to not only get rid of one of your unwanted players but also to get a wad of cash as well.

Simply all you need to do is take over a team with a lot of money such as Chelsea or Manchester United and then as manager of them make an offer of all that clubs transfer budget for an unwanted player in your own squad, maybe a youth player if you don’t have any first team players you don’t want.

Then change user to your original club, accept the offer, change user back to the rich club you’ve just taken over, offer a contract, make sure that they’ll accept so offer more than what they’re asking and then confirm the deal and there you go! You have lots of money. Now just retire as manager of the rich club and get back on with your game.

Buy back clause cheat

In Football Manager 2007 you have the option to set a “buy back clause” when you’re selling a player. This can be utilised to make quick easy money, especially when selling a younger player.

Basically if an offer comes in of say £5m for one of your players, negotiate so that it’s £5m, plus a next sale percentage of 50% and a buy back clause of £7.5m (this would be the lowest you could set the buy back clause to).

Then once the transfer has gone through, buy the player back for £7.5m (they HAVE to accept this offer). Now you may be thinking but I’ve just lost £2.5m, but thanks to the 50% next sale percentage, you’ll get half of that £7.5m back as well, meaning you’re only buying him back for £3.75m and have just made a lovely £1.25m profit, out of nothing.

This is great for teams on a small budget who need that extra million or two.
